Bobsledder Todd Hays Makes A Comeback, Eyes 2010 Vancouver Olympics | December 9, 2007 | AHN: "Lake Placid, NY (AHN) - Team USA's former top bobsledder Todd Hays is ready to take another shot at the Olympic title in the 2010 Games in Vancouver. Hays said he is postponing retirement to be part once again of the American team. Hays has agreed to form part of the US bobsledding men's team that also has a new CEO, Darrin Steele. Hays said that Steele's new appointment actually influenced his return to the team. Hays said: 'I believe Darrin will give me every chance to win a gold medal and I'm excited about that. Hays is known for his stint that earned a silver medal in 2002 ending a 46-year medal drought for American men's bobsledding. 'There's still a little ways to go until we make the full commitment,' Hays said in reports. 'But basically, I guess I'm back.' Hays will be on six months probation period before he is eventually given the go-signal to race due to a long period without undergoing drug tests. He said he would use the time to get back into form and undergo training."
