The rink also picked up another $61,000 for winning the Casino Rama Skins Game. Perhaps the most remarkable achievement was winning the first two Capital One Grand Slam events of the season, extending the squad's winning streak to five in the game's most competitive events. The latest victory came two days before Christmas at The National in Port Hawkesbury, N.S.
Although there hasn't been much fanfare about the streak, it's easily one of the most impressive in recent curling history - five consecutive titles against the best fields in the game..."
